Selworthy Stargazer 10k & 5k Run

Join us for this night run high above the stunning Exmoor Coastline with dramatic views across the UK’s first dark sky reserve.

There’s a choice of 5km or 10km routes and every participant will be rewarded with a bespoke wooden laser engraved finishers medal.

As an Exmoor National Park partner we are thrilled to be continuing our collaborative working with the National Park to promote healthy active lifestyles in stunning settings. Grab your head torch and running gear before immersing yourself in the wonders of running at night beneath the stars.

Starting at the old Tank Grounds on North Hill, both routes stay high on the ridge on good trails way marked with reflective orange arrows and signage. Take on the 5km route and you’ll head out over Bratton Ball and catch sight of Selworthy Beacon before looping back to the finish. The 10km route starts as per the 5 km route but continues on and over Selworthy Beacon to Bossington Hill car park before returning on the northern side of the ridge back to the finish. Which ever distance you choose you’ll be sure to enjoy your time in the stunning setting soaking up all the dark sky reserve has to offer.

Come and celebrate the shortest day with us and as it’s just before Christmas why not bring your Santa hat, tinsel or full fancy dress costume? We’d love to see you all having fun.

See website for entry details.
