SUGGESTED TRAILS

Minehead Seafront

Seafront Promenade

There is a level route along the length of the seafront alongside the beach.  It runs from Minehead Golf Course, past the historic harbour to Culvercliffe. There are plenty of seats to stop and rest awhile and enjoy the views across the bay. Folow the Maritime Mile and learn more about Minehead and it's history.

Why not treat yourself along the way and stop for an ice-cream, coffee, bacon butty, cream tea, fish and chips - the list is endless!

Blenheim Gardens

Follow the winding paths through this flower-filled pleasure garden and watch out for the cheeky squirrels! If you time it right, there may be a band playing, especially on a warm, sunny Sunday afternoon.

North Hill

There is a rugged accessible trail from the car park at the end of North Hill (parking at Bossington Hill, overlooking Porlock Bay).  This takes you to the Acland Memorial Hut, part of the National Trust Holnicote Estate.  The view over Porlock Bay is breathtaking.

England Coast Path

Park at Dunster Beach and follow the Steam Coast Trail towards Blue Anchor. Please be aware that the last section to Blue Anchor is currently along the beach so is not accessible for all users.

Parks Walk

There are three sections of level trail that follow the Bratton Stream (the first section includes a cobbled bridge).  For details of the trails, you can download the routes and information on your smartphone.
