The local farmers' market is open every Friday, come rain or shine! It’s an ideal place to sample local produce from locally reared meat, to fruit and vegetables, beer and homemade cakes, bread and pastries and jams to name a few.  The produce is fresh - no long journeys or freezing involved. Your money stays locally and supports the local economy, too.

Local producers bring: free range meats, chicken, Dexter beef, lamb mutton, pork, sausages, bacon, ham, venison. There is also free-range eggs, organic vegetables, Italian meals, olives, fresh fish, trout, plants  herbs, chocolate, cheese chutney, jam, cakes, scotch eggs, pasties, sausage rolls, scones, bread, cookies, beer, handmade woollen items, placements, plants, strawberries and much, much more.
