Surfers Against Sewage, Plastic Free Minehead & West Somerset and Somerset Wildlife Trust are leading a Beach Clean at Minehead as part of the SAS Big Autumn Beach Clean. The clean will start at 2pm outside Channel Adventure on Minehead Promenade. After the clean we will gather to sort the litter that has been collected. The event will end around 4pm. This event is part the campaign to get Minehead recognised as an SAS Plastic Free Community. This campaign is supported by local businesses and other partners. Meeting point and parking: Meet at 2pm outside Channel Adventure on the Promenade (Warren Rd, TA24 5BG). There is pay and display parking nearby.
Dress and kit :The weather could be inclement so bring warm and waterproof clothes and sensible outdoors shoes for walking on the beach. Gloves, bags and litter pickers will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
