Rosanda House is a perfect base from which to explore Exmoor and the West Somerset area.
If you wish to explore the wider area, you may like to tour around the Exmoor National Park, taking in villages such as Dunster, Porlock, Dulverton, Withypool, Exford, Lynton & Lynmouth. To head off the beaten track a little, why not visit the Doone Valley (Oare and Malmsmead), which was the setting for R D Blackmore's well known novel Lorna Doone.
Minehead itself has a wide range of shops and eating places. You can relax in Blenheim Gardens, a couple of minutes away and enjoy shopping, strolling along the seafront or even swimming in the Bristol Channel if you are made of stern stuff. The town has a long-established Farmers' Market every Friday in The Parade, in the centre of town.
North Devon is also within striking distance, either by taking the spectacular coast road (A39) and experiencing England's tallest coastal cliffs, or by cutting across Exmoor and enjoying the unique scenery and wildlife.
Our location really is convenient. We're just a few minutes’ walk from the harbour, the seafront, the shops in The Avenue and The Parade and the West Somerset Railway Station.
All three of our flats are all self-contained and fully equipped with everything you should need during your stay. Check our website for detailed descriptions and photos. There is parking for all guests in the driveway.
Please contact us if you have any questions at all - we look forward to welcoming you to Rosanda House.
