Wait for the tide to come in, grab yourself a bucket, a fishing line and some bait and head for the harbour. It’s a great way to while away an hour or two listening to the sounds of the seaside while trying to outwit the local crustaceans! You can even have your own family crabbing competitions to see who can catch the most, then watch them race down the slip way back to the sea (please always return your catch to the sea!)
Crab nets, lines, buckets and bait are available from the fishing tackle shop on the harbour and is a cheap way to keep the family entertained for several hours.
