Recreation Parks in Minehead

Minehead has four recreation parks and playing fields dotted around the town.

Culvercliffe play area is at the base of North Hill, just beyond the harbour with wooden play equipment for older children.  There are picnic benches and a grassy area for games.Alongside is a pebbly beach, a grassy area for exercising dogs and access to the footpaths climbing North Hill.

King George V Playing Field A lovely large playing area fenced off from the football/rugby pitch, with a variety of play equipment including swings. There are benches in the play area and plenty of space on the field for playing football or other games.

Periton Park playing field  is located in the northen area of Minehad , close totheA39 . It has a range of colourful play equipment alongwith some benches, ideal for a picnic!

Irnham Road Recreation Ground A large play area with swings, slides, monkey bars and climbing frames within the recreation ground where there is a football/rugby pitch.
